My name is Garrett Hennessey and I am in my Junior year of college at the University of Mary Washington. I am studying for my English degree and am currently enrolled in higher level English courses such as Late 18th Century British literature and Shakespeare: Early Plays. I currently intern at the Alumni and Advancement office at UMW. When I graduate, I have a couple paths that I could choose. I would consider Government work, technical writing, editing/ publishing, and eventually teaching. I come from a family of teachers, so at some point I’d love to. As I am on my third to last semester here at Mary Washington, I am excited for all of the opportunities to come.
